A downloadable experience for Windows

For a short period in the early 2000s, the Millennium Dome on London's Greenwich Peninsula sat empty and abandoned.

In this alternate reality, the Dome has been reinvigorated by the construction of a large expo center within.

The expo halls are currently hosting the Virtual Railway Museum, an exhibition of iconic historic and modern trains.

Constructed in Unreal Engine 4, the exhibition features:

  • 13 life-size locomotives and multiple units
  • 5 themed halls: Age of Steam, High Speed, Inter City, Metro Trains and Suburban Rail
  • Realistic set dressing and background ambience
  • Room to expand - keep an eye out for updates...

Install instructions

Extract all files and run vdp2.exe. 

Virtual Railway Museum runs at 1920x1080 fullscreen with an uncapped frame rate - please check your display supports this resolution before playing, and enable vsync in your graphics drivers if you experience screen tearing. 

Engine prerequisites are included in the zip if required.
